AceShowbiz - Bradley Cooper's close bond with his mother has allegedly become a challenge in his relationship with Gigi Hadid. If the rumor is to be trusted, the model is frustrated with the "constant presence" of her boyfriend's mother Gloria.
"Bradley's relationship with Gigi is facing an unforeseen hurdle with Gloria, who insists on being a constant presence during their romantic outings," a source tells the National Enquirer (via Radar Online). "While he's made it clear that his mother holds a special place in his life, her interference is causing tension in the romance."
The situation allegedly reached a breaking point earlier this month, when Bradley took his mother on a dinner date with Gigi after the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. After he brought her mom as his date to the ceremony on January 7, Gigi allegedly did not expect Gloria to join them on a private dinner post-the ceremony.
"While Gigi anticipated a private dinner after the awards ceremony, Gloria joined them once again, causing frustration for her," a friend spills. But the "American Sniper" star allegedly refuses to change the dynamic between him and his mother for the sake of his romantic relationship.
The friend adds, "He makes it explicitly clear to his partners that Gloria will always be the most significant presence in his life, but as his relationship with Gigi deepens, the constant presence of his mother has become a point of contention!"
For the post-Golden Globes dinner, Bradley, her mother and Gigi headed to celeb hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles. Despite the rumored "tension" because of Gloria's presence, the trio spent hours inside the restaurant after headed for the dinner at around 9:20 P.M. They left the restaurant separately, with the catwalk beauty making her way out around 11:30 P.M.
Most recently, the couple was spotted walking hand-in-hand during a stroll in London. The lovebirds could be seen chatting and smiling during the outing on January 25 with just the two of them.
