AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart proves that he was unbothered by the news about his ex-wife, Torrei Hart, joining Katt Williams' comedy tour. When asked about the matter, the "Central Intelligence" actor sent love to her instead.
"My success is my success," the 44-year-old told a reporter from TMZ. "I want everybody to win, I love everybody."
Kevin went on to wish Torrei well. "I want everybody to win," the comic, who was married to Torrei from 2003 to 2011, stated. "I hope the tour is great."
Torrei announced on Tuesday, January 9 that she will be collaborating with Katt for his "Dark Matters" tour. She revealed that she will make an appearance in some stops, including Charlotte, Orlando and Tampa.
"#Charlotte #Orlando #Tampa, come see me live with my good friend @kattwilliams on the Dark Matters tour," so she wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of them posing together.
Katt recently reignited his feud with Kevin after appearing on Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay" podcast earlier this month. "For a five-year period, every single movie that Kevin Hart did was a movie that had been on my desk that all I had said was just, 'Can we take some of this Stepin Fetchit s**t out and then I can do it,' " he said, referencing the 1930s black actor who found fame for playing someone lazy.
"Like it don't need to be overtly homosexual cuz I'm not homosexual right? It doesn't need that to be funny, right? And me saying that and them going, 'Oh yeah, no problem,' and then going to give it to this other guy and having him do it just like it was and acting like I'm a bad person because I keep standing on my standard," Katt went on ranting. "Yeah, it's interesting, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Again, I'm on the winning side of these decisions."
In response to the diss, Kevin wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, "Gotta get that anger up outcha champ….It's honestly sad." Instead of fuming, the actor/comedian opted to make this an opportunity to promote his new movie "Lift" as he wrote, "In the meantime…. Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER to my next film 'LIFT' which will be dropping on @netflix in 8 days!!!!"
