AceShowbiz - Dave Portnoy has revealed the reason behind his shocking split from Silvana Mojica. A few days after confirming that he called it quits with his then-girlfriend, the Barstool Sports founder blamed no one but himself for their breakup.

In the Wednesday, November 29 episode of his "BFFs" podcast, the 46-year-old told his co-hosts Josh Richards and Bri Chickenfry, "We were dating for three years and I guess you get to a point where you think maybe there's a difference in what somebody wants and what the other person wants. And without going into too much detail, I just didn't think I could give Silvana kind of what she deserves."

Dave went on to candidly say, "She's so beautiful, she's funny, she's smart, she's all these things, it's probably a me-issue because I'm old and single at this point. But if I don't think I'm the guy that she is looking for and is going to be able to provide her with what she needs down the road, it's like, 'What are you doing?' "

The explanation came more than one week after Silvana hinted that she and Dave have broken up. On November 22, she uploaded an emotional video about breaking up via TikTok. In the clip, she was documented tearfully showing off a number of stickers. Along with the footage, she wrote in the caption, "Imagine u buy these for someone and then get broken up with." On November 24, Dave confirmed to Page Six that they have separated.

Later on, Silvana claimed that she was "dumped" by Dave. On Monday, November 27, the 28-year-old model said in a TikTok video, "Like I've been getting fifty, 50 comments like this. And then the other half are like, 'You're just posting this for attention.' Like, no, actually, I'm just grieving."

Silvana additionally shared, "Because I was dating this person for three years and he was my best friend. And also, it's so much more different when you're the dumper or when you're getting dumped." She added, "So like, yeah, I'm gonna f**king grieve and you're gonna let me because it's my page. Thank you."
