In a new interview with the Los Angeles Times, the 'What Was I Made For?' songstress talks about her blonde hair and young stars, including the 'Drivers License' singer and actress Ariana Greenblatt.

AceShowbiz - Billie Eilish revealed that she felt "protective" of Olivia Rodrigo. In a new interview, the "What Was I Made For?" songstress also unveiled that her song titled "Goldwing" is inspired by the "Drivers License" singer.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday, November 14, the 21-year-old Grammy-winning singer said about Olivia, "I think everybody's experiences are so individual. Nobody has had anybody else's life, you know?" She declared, "But I do feel a protectiveness over Olivia."

Billie went on to spill, "I have a song called 'Goldwing' from my last album that's kind of about her. I've never said that to anyone." She explained, "It's not only about her. I was just thinking about her when I was writing it. She was coming up, and she was younger than me, and nobody had ever been younger than me."

"Olivia was getting big, and she was just, like, this little dainty child," Billie further recalled while making a reference to Olivia's acting career in the Disney universe. "I felt so nervous. I was worried about her. She came up in that acting world, and people are so weird. I don't know, I just felt very protective over her. And I feel that way to everyone."

During the chat, Billie also mentioned "Barbie" young actress Ariana Greenblatt. The "Happier Than Ever" singer stated about Ariana, "She's 16, and I literally want to cry about her sometimes." On the reason why, she elaborated, "I just see myself in all these young girls."

"And it's the girls, man," the "Ocean Eyes" songstress additionally noted. "Boys can handle themselves. They're dudes - they don't have to deal with it like we do." She added, "I just want to hold everybody in a little glass box and never let anything touch them."

Elsewhere in the interview, Billie hinted that she regretted trading her "edgy goth look" for blonde. "At first it was fun. I was really excited for the blond era - like, Blond Billie is gonna be so cool. But it did not go how I wanted it to go," she admitted. "I completely had no idea who I was. I came up with this whole aesthetic, and I just got swallowed up into it."
