When addressing the leaked audio of her screaming and cussing Darius out, Sharon insists that she did it out of fear for her daughter's life and accuses the fitness instructor of recording her illegally.

AceShowbiz - Keke Palmer's mother apparently has no regret about threatening Darius Jackson during the former couple's altercation. After leaked audio revealed that Sharon Palmer threatened to "put a bullet" in Darius' head, she insists that she did it out of fear for her daughter's life.
"You should ask them for the entire tape," Sharon tells RadarOnline.com in regards to the audio, which was first posted and then deleted by TMZ on Monday, November 13. "You will hear him being told to leave several times. The point where I am cussing came in after 2 mins of him refusing to leave."
Sharon went on accusing Darius of "recording me illegally," pointing out that "California is a consent state" while alleging that the fitness instructor "does not care about the law" and "most abuser (sic) don't care about the law." She claimed that Darius "would not leave" Keke's home and "was not invited in" at the time, adding, "I feared for her life."
Meanwhile, sources from Darius' camp told TMZ that he had texted Keke about going to pick up his son to watch football last Sunday, November 5, but when he arrived to Keke's place, Leo wasn't there. Argument ensued and Keke got her mom on the phone and put her on speaker.
Sharon was screaming and cussing Darius out in the since-deleted audio. At one point, she told Darius that she'd put a bullet in his head. Darius then attempted to take Keke's phone away, which is said what was captured in the photos Keke included as evidence in her petition.
Darius denies abusing Keke as the sources insisted that cops came over and didn't find any probable cause to arrest him for domestic violence. Darius' mother Yhinyer later texted Sharon about the latter's threat to the former's son. "Well, then now we have to involve the authorities, because you don't respect or value yourself and I can see no my son's life. You might have to kill all of us. I will file a police report on you now," Yhinyer wrote.
In response to Yhinyer's text message, Sharon wrote back, "You should be very ashamed to have raised a man who fights women." She also responded to Darius' denial, saying, "The stills of Darius Jackson attacking my daughter speak for themselves. No other comments are necessary."
Keke filed a petition asking for restraining order against Darius on November 9. In court documents, she accused her ex of abusing her multiple times over the course of their two-year relationship. She also asked for full physical and legal custody of their 8-month-old son.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge later granted Keke's motion for a temporary restraining order. The judge also granted the actress sole custody of their child until further notice.
