AceShowbiz - Shannon Beador looked somber in a first sighting following two charges. The star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" did not appear in good spirits when she stepped out for the first time since she was slapped with DUI alcohol as well as hit-and-run charges.
On Friday, October 27, the 59-year-old reality TV star was spotted out and about in Newport Beach, California. In pictures making their rounds online, she looked downcast while strolling around alone. She was photographed keeping her head down as she put one of her hands in a pocket and held a bottle of water in her other hand. One of the photos showed her sitting down on a bench while having a seemingly serious conversation over the phone.
For the day out, the Bravo TV personality opted to wear an all-black sporty ensemble. She donned a long-sleeved black hoodie and a pair of long matching leggings. To complete the look, she put on a pair of black sneakers with matching laces and matching sunglasses that she wore on top of her head. It could be clearly seen that she was wearing a cast on one of her wrists.
The new sighting came shortly after it was reported that Shannon had been slapped with two charges. Earlier that day, TMZ broke the news that she was hit with one count of DUI and one count of hit-and-run, both misdemeanors, by the Orange County District Attorney. Law enforcement sources spilled to the outlet that her blood alcohol content was "three times the legal limit" and said that she "blew a .24" percent after her crash.
Shannon received the charges more than one month after smashing her car into a property in Newport Beach. On September 16, she was driving under the influence of alcohol and had her dog Archie in the car. In CCTV footage obtained by TMZ, she was documented driving at a high speed before the crash. In the clip, she was then seen driving away from the damaged building.
According to police sources, Shannon attempted to get away from the mess by pretending that she was walking Archie after she parked her car in the middle of the street. A few hours later, she was arrested for DUI alcohol as well as hit-and-run before she was "cited and released without bond."
