The 'Bongos' femcee announces that her new music is coming in early November, after she 'amicably' parted ways with 1501 Certified Entertainment and revealed that she is currently without a label.

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion is moving forward independently in her music career despite without a label. After "amicably" parting ways with 1501 Certified Entertainment, the Texas native has announced her new project is on the way.

Making use of her Instagram page, the "Savage" hitmaker told her followers that she is releasing a new single titled "Cobra" on Friday, November 3. "COBRA NOVEMBER 3RD PRE-SAVE NOW!" she wrote along with a few snake emojis.

The announcement came with a risque picture of Megan. In the NSFW snap, the 28-year-old left very little to the imagination as she wore nothing but a tiny bikini that loooked to be made of tree bark. She was dewy from head-to-toe and her wet hair was slicked back with loose waves falling down to her butt. She posed against a lush, green jungle backdrop.

Megan teased the song earlier this week in a short Instagram clip. It had the camera zeroing on her lips as they were floating in a black void. "Just as a snake sheds its skin, we must shed our past, over and over again," she said over an ominous track.

Dubbed "a story by Megan Thee Stallion," "Cobra" marks Megan's first release as an independent artist. The song will arrive via her own Hot Girl Productions as she recently revealed that she is footing the bill herself for all of her upcoming projects.

"This part of my album is very much so funded by Megan Thee Stallion because we're trying to get off ... Y'all know what’s the tea. But I have no label right now," she said during an Instagram Live earlier this month. "We're doing everything funded straight out of Megan Thee Stallion's pockets. So, the budget is coming from me. Motherf**king Hot Girl Productions! The next s**t y'all about to see is all straight from Megan Thee Stallion's brain and Megan Thee Stallion's wallet. We are in my pockets, hotties, so let's do our big one."

Megan and 1501 Certified Entertainment have since "mutually reached a confidential settlement to resolve their legal differences" after a three-year battle. 1501 said in a statement, "Both Megan and 1501 are pleased to put this matter behind them and move forward with the next chapter of their respective businesses." The label's president Carl Crawford added that he and his company "wish Megan the very best in her life and career."
