If a new report is to be believed, the 40-year-old 'Barbie World' hitmaker has been losing 25 pounds as she's taking the drug to achieve her new appearance.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj may be the latest celebrity to join the Ozempic trend to lose weight. If a new report is to be believed, the 40-year-old "Barbie World" hitmaker has been taking the drug to achieve her new appearance.

Media Take Out pointed out that the Trinidadian raptress lost about 25 pounds. The new report attached pictures of Nicki a year ago and compares them to recent photos of the femcee, who looks skinnier.

Nicki has yet to comment on the allegations.

Using Ozempic, which is FDA-approved prescription medication for people with type 2 diabetes, to lose weight has been a trend among celebrities. Some celebrities, including Chelsea Handler, Remi Bader and Elon Musk, got real about the matter, while some others vehemently denied the accusations.

Among those who weighed in on the Ozempic craze in Hollywood was Amy Schumer. During her appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" in June, the comedienne urged celebrities to stop lying about consuming the drug to lose weight.

"Like a year ago, I tried it," Amy admitted. "I was one of those people that felt so sick and couldn't play with my son. I was so skinny and he's throwing a ball at me and [I couldn't]."

The "I Feel Pretty" actress, however, decided to stop taking Ozempic due to its side effects. "And you're like, 'OK, this isn't livable for me.' But I immediately invested [in it] because I knew everyone was going to try it," she added.

Amy later on criticized fellow celebrities for "lying" about taking Ozempic for weight loss. "Everyone has been lying saying, 'Oh smaller portions.' Like shut the f**k up. You are on Ozempic or one of those things or you got work done. Just stop," the "Trainwreck" star said. "Be real with the people. When I got lipo, I said I got lipo."
