AceShowbiz - BLACKPINK's Jisoo is single now. The "Pink Venom" singer's agency YG Entertainment has confirmed that the South Korean star has broken up with actor Ahn Bohyun, just two months after their romance was confirmed.
YG Entertainment issued a statement to Sports Chosun on Tuesday, October 24 regarding the couple's split. The K-Pop company said, "It is true that Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun broke up."
JTBC was the first one to report that the "Flower" hitmaker and the "Itaewon Class" actor had parted ways. "Due to their busy schedules, Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun naturally drifted apart and recently decided to end their romantic relationship," the report claimed, adding that they returned to being colleagues following their fizzled romance.
Fans had mixed responses to the split news. "Well that's unfortunate.Was it real at all cause it looked like yg & dispatch did it all during jisoo's solo to ruin her cuz jisoo would never confirm it untill the end.Looks like they had just started dating and jisoo wasn't fully sure but confirmed it anyway.Good luck to them," one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
"At least they are still in a good term. Goo luck for both," someone else added. Confused, another said, "it's been like only five minutes since they started dating WHAT."
Jisoo and Bohyun confirmed their romantic relationship in August. "They are at a stage of getting to know each other with good feelings. Please watch over them warmly," YG Entertainment said at the time. Bohyun's agency FN Entertainment echoed the sentiment as it also acknowledged their relationship.
Prior to the confirmation, the "Kill This Love" singer and the "Yumi's Cells" star made headlines when Korean media outlet Dispatch reported that they were in a relationship. It also shared pictures of them meeting at Jisoo's home which quickly went viral.
