The 'If I Could Turn Back Time' singer reveals that she and the 'Papa Don't Preach' songstress have 'buried that hatchet a long time ago' after her rival forgave her.

AceShowbiz - Cher claimed that Madonna has forgiven her following her hurtful remarks. After calling Madonna "mean" and "spoiled brat" in the past, the "If I Could Turn Back Time" singer revealed that she and the "Material Girl" hitmaker ended their feud "a long time ago."
The 77-year-old songstress opened up about her previous statement about Madonna in an interview published by The Los Angeles Times on Friday, October 20. Upon receiving a question if she was saying that Madonna was "mean," she clarified, "She can be." Fortunately, she unveiled that the two artists "buried that hatchet a long time ago."
"Because I called her something so much worse, and she forgave me," Cher, whose real name is Cherilyn Sarkisian, went on to reveal. She further gushed, "But I give her this: There's no one like her that had their ear to the ground and knew everything before anybody else."
The "I Got You Babe" singer additionally elaborated, "I mean, she knew what was coming, and she was right on it." She continued, "I always felt that was her greatest gift, that she could know the trends before any of us."
Recently, Madonna displayed a clip of Cher's interview, featuring her "mean" and "spoiled brat" remarks, during one of the former's "Celebration Tour" shows. In the 1991 chat itself, Cher could be heard saying, "There's something about her that I don't like. She's mean. I don't like that."
"I remember having her over to my house a couple of times, because Sean Penn and I were friends, and she just was so rude to everybody," Cher recounted. "It seems to me that she's got so much that she doesn't have to act that way."
"She acts like a spoiled brat all the time, the "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" actress continued. "And it seems to me when you reach the kind of acclaim that she's reached, and you can do whatever you want to do, you should be a little bit more magnanimous, and a little bit less of a c**t."
