AceShowbiz - Netflix has revealed first-look photos for the first part of "The Crown" season 6. Unveiled on Monday, October 16 on the streaming giant's official Instagram page, the eight images offer glimpses of the first installment that will center on Princess Diana and her romance with Dodi Fayed.

One of the images features Elizabeth Debicki in character as Princess Diana, rocking her signature blonde bangs. Another shows Elizabeth and Khalid Abdalla's Dodi sitting in the backseat of a car while sporting sunglasses. The two donned outfits similar to the ones that Diana and Dodi wore on the night they had a car crash in Paris in 1997 which killed both of them.

Elizabeth's Diana can also be seen hugging young Prince William and Prince Harry (played by Rufus Kampa and Fflyn Edwards respectively). The young princes also join their father Prince William (Dominic West) in another picture which sees the trio exploring the River Dee at Balmoral Castle in August 1997, prior to Diana’s devastating death.

The new images additionally include a picture of Dodi looking pensive on a glamorous boat. Another picture imagines Diana leaning on the rail of a yacht which may be one of the private seacrafts that Dodi's father Mohamed al Fayed owned. Netflix also gives fans a look at Salim Daw's take on Mohamed.

In addition to exploring their relationship and tragic car accident, season 6 is set to see Prince William trying "to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother's death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion. As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles and Camilla and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate."

Season 6 will also star Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, and Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret. They will be joined by Claudia Harrison as Princess Anne, Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker Bowles, and Bertie Carvel as Tony Blair.

Recently, it was announced that the sixth and final season of "The Crown" will be divided into two parts. The series will drop Part 1 on Thursday, November 16 on Netflix. The remaining 6 episodes are slated to arrive on Thursday, December 14.
