The 'Snowfall' actor's house is left with serious damage after thieves broke into his Los Angeles-area property and took his small safe, which only held about $500 worth of stuff.

AceShowbiz - Damson Idris has become the latest celebrity to fall victim to home burglary. The actor's house has been left with some serious damage after thieves broke into his home only to get away with some petty cash.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources revealed that the alleged thieves broke into the "Snowfall" star's house in Los Angeles on July 3. The suspects allegedly smashed a glass door to get inside the crib.

The thieves eventually left with Damson's small safe, but it only held about $500 worth of stuff, sources told the outlet. It's unclear though what was inside the safe.

The suspects, however, caused more damage to the house than what they got away with in goods. It's estimated that it will cost the 31-year-old actor $2,000 to fix what was busted during the robbery.

The case is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, but no arrests have been made so far. Cops will reportedly be reviewing the security cameras in the house and checking out neighbors' videos to get more information on the incident.

Damson is believed to be not home during the burglary as he has been filming the Formula One racing film "Apex" in England. On Sunday, July 9, he was seen joining Brad Pitt to shoot the film with a number of professional racers, including Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, during the actual British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire.

The "Outside the Wire" star and the "Fury" actor, who play the fictional characters named Joshua Pearce and Sonny Hayes respectively, were seen sporting custom white race suits with black graphics. Their costume displayed the name of their made-up team, "APXGP", as well as their character's name, "Pearce" and "Hayes", alongside the United States' flag.

The movie is directed by Joe Kosinski and produced by Lewis Hamilton as well as Jerry Bruckheimer.
