During a race weekend, the 'World War Z' actor is spotted wearing a custom white race suit to film his upcoming movie along with co-star Damson Idris and several pro-racers.

AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt has set fans' pulse racing. While he was at the British Grand Prix, the "World War Z" actor suited up to film his new Formula 1 movie, which would reportedly be titled "Apex" and be produced by Lewis Hamilton and Jerry Bruckheimer.

Shortly before a race on Sunday, July 9, the 59-year-old actor was captured on camera tapping for his upcoming Joe Kosinski-directed film. In photos making its rounds online, he could be seen filming with co-star Damson Idris and a number of professional racers, including Lewis and Max Verstappen.

The "Fury" actor and the "Snowfall" star, who play the fictional characters named Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pearce respectively, were seen sporting custom white race suits with black graphics. Their costume displayed the name of their made-up team, "APXGP", as well as their character's name, "Hayes" and "Pearce", alongside the United States' flag.

During his visit at the British Grand Prix, Brad expressed his gratitude for being able to film over the weekend. "I'm a little giddy right now I gotta say. And it's just great to be here man. We're just having such a laugh, time in my life," he stated in an interview with Sky Sports.

"It's just all been great. I mean the vibe's amazing," he went on to explain. "But just to get to be a part of it in this way and get to tell our story and everyone's been really cool with us. All the teams have opened their doors for us."

Brad also spilled his role in the movie, "I would be a guy who raced in the 90s. He has a horrible crash, kind of craps out and disappears, and then is racing in other disciplines. And then his friend, played by Javier Bardem, is a team owner. They're a last place team, they are 21 or 22 on the grid, they've never scored a point."

"And they have a young phenom, played by Damson Idris, and he brings me in as kind of a hail mary. And hijinks ensue," Brad elaborated. "I'll tell you what's amazing about it. You see the cameras mounted all over the car. You've never seen speed, you've never seen G-force like this. It's really, really exciting."
