The 'Just Wana Rock' rapper, who uses they/them pronouns, promises fans a new offering after releasing a new album called 'Pink Tape' on Friday, June 30.

AceShowbiz - Lil Uzi Vert isn't done releasing new music. The "Just Wanna Rock" rapper declared on social media that they will drop the album "y'all really looking for" if their newly-released project, "Pink Tape", goes to No.1.

The emcee made the declaration via Instagram Story on Tuesday, July 4. "Get this 2 number one And I will drop the album The album yall really looking for," they penned under an image of the cover for "Pink Tape".

"Pink Tape" hit streaming services on June 30, but the tracklist was unveiled one day prior. It features guest appearances from the likes of Travis Scott (II), Nicki Minaj, Bring Me the Horizon, Don Toliver and Babymetal.

Playboi Carti was supposed to be featured as well, but his name was nowhere to be seen. It came as a surprise considering that Uzi had teased a Carti feature earlier this year.

When performing at Rolling Loud California in March, Uzi previewed an unreleased track where they highlighted the tensions in their long-standing friendship but said they cherish the latter. "Shout out to Carti, we don't talk hardly, but that's where my heart be," Uzi spits on the tune.

A few weeks later, the "Just Wanna Rock" rhymer again hinted at a collaboration with Carti and promised the duo would dominate with their upcoming music. "Me and my luv about 2 take over the world," JT's longtime partner declared on their Instagram Story.

Uzi first teased the 26-track set in December 2020, but it was not until July 2021 that they announced the album's title through an Instagram post. The title might be a reference to the $24 million pink diamond they had pierced into their forehead in February of that year.
