On Tuesday, June 13, the makeup mogul treated her followers to a picture from her private jet. She could be seen donning a summery floral Doen Stanza Dress and pearl earrings from Chanel. However, it was a Cartier Trinity Ring on her left-hand ring finger that raised people's eyebrows.
The $1,570 signature Cartier design dates back to 1924. In its website, the jeweler describes the ring as "a symbol of life's most paramount relationships." The ring's three intertwined bands, which are made from rose, yellow and white gold, symbolize love, fidelity and friendship, respectively.
The first-ever Trinity ring was made for French poet and playwright Jean Cocteau. The band has also been worn by Hollywood icons like Grace Kelly and Gary Cooper. It is also favored by modern-day stars like Adele, Eva Mendes and Gwyneth Paltrow.
British royal family is also a fan of the Trinity line, which also includes necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Princess Diana often wore her triple-band Cartier ring, while Kate Middleton has stepped out in several Trinity pieces too.
It should also be noted that Timothee has been a Cartier ambassador since 2021.
While Kylie and the "Call Me by Your Name" actor have been romantically linked since April, sources claimed that the two are not in a serious relationship. A source told PEOPLE, "Kylie enjoys dating, but her main focus is being a mom." Another source added, "She is getting to know him. Kylie is having fun. After years of back and forth with [Travis Scott (II)], she just wants to date without any pressure."
As for Kylie's ex Travis, he allegedly wasn't thrilled about her new romance. "Although Travis understands that Kylie is free to date whoever she wants, he's not exactly ecstatic about the whole situation [with Timothee]," a source said of the "ASTROWORLD" artist, who shares two children with Kylie. "Despite his feelings, Kylie and Travis have both been very mature about their split, and are focused on co-parenting in a healthy manner."
