When making an appearance on 'Sway's Universe', the 'Wipe Me Down' rapper reveals that he started to get close to the late legendary rapper after he got out of jail.

AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz, who was formerly known as Lil Boosie, has credited Pimp C for helping him out of jail. During an appearance on "Sway's Universe", the "Wipe Me Down" spitter opened up about his relationship with the late legendary rapper that began in his teenage years after he got out of jail for stealing a car.

"I was 17. I was in jail on a.. stolen car charge. I had to remain for 90 days and he came and got me out of jail," the 40-year-old spilled in the Saturday, June 3 episode of the radio show. "I called my mama and my mama like, 'Some guy named Pimp C and these boys they're trying to get you out of jail boy, you know Pimp C?' "

"I'm like, 'Yeah, I know Pimp C!' A couple days later, I don't know they pulled some strings and got me out of there," he continued recounting what happened. "I did like sixty-something days they got me out and the rest is history."

Revealing that he and Pimp had been close ever since, Boosie opened up about what the two of them did back in the old days. "We went and rode around, ate, smoked some weed. Chilled out, talked to me," he shared. "Went in the studio, made a couple songs… the whole point about it is Pimp C was the decoy."

On his signing up with Trill Entertainment back in 2001, the "Out Here Grindin" rapper confessed, "I thought I was signing to Pimp C, I thought he was the CEO by him being so tight with them. I thought he was the big dog cause it was Trill Entertainment. Trill is Pimp C, so I come to find out he wasn't in the paperwork but I thought he was my CEO the whole time."

Elsewhere in the interview, Bossie showered Pimp with praises. "Pimp C was real. Pimp C was so talented bro. All that singing you hear on them songs. That's Pimp C, that ain't no woman," he gushed. "That's Pimp C that's not no woman. Pimp C was a talent bro, an outspoken talent. If Pimp C was here right now we'd be beefing with everybody."
