The later hip-hop legend, who passed away in September 1996, will receive his star in the recording category during a public ceremony at 6212 Hollywood Blvd on June 7.

AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) was left in disbelief upon learning that Tupac Shakur hasn't received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Though the late rapper will be honored posthumously next week, the "Wipe Me Down" emcee was still unhappy with it.

"Tupac ain't ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME?" the 40-year-old argued on Twitter on Thursday, June 1. "WTF THE DISRESPECT !! Don't worry he saying F**K YALL from the Grave."

Fans were also shocked to hear the news. "Wait wait wait so Nipsey got one before Pac???!!!! They both deserve it but dang Pac was one of Nipseys influences! This is loooooooong overdue!" one person raged, while another added, "Why did it take so long? He been dead 25 years!!!!" A different person shared similar sentiment, "Should've had one yeaaaars ago."

Tupac will receive his star in the recording category during a public ceremony at 6212 Hollywood Blvd on June 7. The event will be hosted by L.A. radio host Big Boy and guest speakers will include director Allen Hughes (Hulu documentary series Dear Mama), writer Jamal Joseph and Tupac's sister Sekyiwa "Set" Shakur, who will accept the star.

"Tupac Shakur was a rapper, actor, activist, poet, and revolutionary," said Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "This iconic artist has continued to be part of the zeitgeist for decades after his passing and will continue to be an important cultural figure for many years to come. Surely, as one of L.A.'s own, Tupac's star will be added to the list of most visited stars."
