AceShowbiz - Timothee Chalamet's friends apparently are not happy with his romance with Kylie Jenner. They reportedly have been privately urging him to distance himself from the reality TV star, Radar Online claims.
Sources close to the situation reveal to the news outlet that the "Call Me by Your Name" actor's inner circle is telling him to run away from Kylie. They allegedly are concerned that the 27-year-old star will fall under the Kardashian curse.
"Every guy who dates or marries one of the Kar-Jenners winds up on the scrap heap, wondering what happened to their reputation and career," a source notes, referring to Kanye West, Caitlyn Jenner, Tristan Thompson and Kris Humphries. "Timothee has a bright future. Getting involved with Kylie can lead to everything going up in flames."
The informant continues, "Every one of those guys left their relationship with a Kar-Jenner worse off than they arrived. Kanye's a walking trainwreck. Caitlyn is a desperately seeking attention has-been. And Kris and Tristan are both out of the NBA and jeered every time they walk into an arena!" It's should be noted, however, that Tristan moved to L.A. Lakers earlier this year.
Timothee's friends also believe that his relationship with "The Kardashians" star will only slow his career down. "The last thing he needs is to become the latest punchline in a hoke about the Kardashian rejects!" said an insider. A representative of Timothee, however, denied the report.
His loved ones may be able to breathe a sigh of relief because while the pair enjoy each other's company, they don't put labels on their relationship. "Kylie enjoys dating, but her main focus is being a mom," an insider recently revealed to PEOPLE. The insider also clarified that their relationship is "not serious."
Kylie and the "Little Women" star were first romantically linked in early April after the popular Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi claimed they were seeing each other. "She is getting to know him. Kylie is having fun," a source told PEOPLE last month. "After years of back and forth with [Travis Scott (II)], she just wants to date without any pressure."
