After the 'Kardashians' star admits to feeling less connected to her son, whom she welcomed via surrogate, the conservative author criticizes the practice as 'the highest paying form of prostitution.'

AceShowbiz - Candace Owens has condemned surrogacy. An outspoken public figure with often controversial opinions, the Republican supporter has called out Khloe Kardashian as she criticized surrogacy on Twitter posts.
"I am grateful that @khloekardashian has shone a light on the unethical practice of surrogacy," the author, who conceived her two children naturally, called out the reality TV star last week. "Purchasing and taking a newborn from its mothers arms a mere seconds after birth is an unspeakable evil. Breeders do not even do it to animals."
Likening the practice of surrogacy to prostitution, the 34-year-old added in a separate tweet, "My heart breaks for women who- for money-submit their bodies to this cruel practice." She went on claiming, "It is the highest paying form of prostitution and that there are wealthy women who subject poorer women to this cruelty out of vanity and not necessity makes me sick."
Many, however, disagreed with Candace. Someone replied to her tweets, "I am sorry, I disagree. Someone very dear to me couldnt (sic) carry a child... and surrogate carried my friend and her husband's baby... that child, now an adult is their greatest love... the woman who carried the child gave them a gift." To that comment, Candace replied, "You are thinking about your friend. I am thinking about the surrogate."
Someone sarcastically hit back at the conservative talk show host, "So glad you get pregnant when you sneeze, Candy, but not every woman is so lucky." Another wrote, "Only YOU could turn a beautiful gift into something ugly."
A fourth person weighed in, "This is such a distasteful post to all of the women who can't carry babies and to all of the surrogates who do this out of the goodness of their heart. There are plenty of women who are surrogates who do not do this for money. My friend became a surrogate for her best friend."
Someone else thinks that Candace is not wrong, noting, "It's more trafficking than prostitution, but she's actually right."
Candace spoke against surrogacy after Khloe admitted in an episode of "The Kardashians" that relying on a surrogate to welcome her son Tatum with Tristan Thompson was "hard for me." She admitted she felt less connected to her newborn son than she did to daughter True, now 5, after she was born.
"It's a mindf**k. It's really the weirdest thing," she said while speaking with her sister Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick. Kim, who also welcomed two of her four children via surrogate, acknowledged, "I do think there is a difference when your baby is in your belly, the baby actually feels your real heart. Think about it. There's no one else on this planet that will feel you from the inside like that, your heart."
While Kim noted it's easier for some people to connect with babies after surrogacy than others, Khloe admitted she was having a hard time, adding, "Kim said hers was easy, and this is not easy." She also said she "felt really guilty" for taking the baby boy away from the woman who had carried him for months.
"...this woman just had my baby and I take the baby and I go in another room and we are sort of separated," she lamented. "I felt that it was such a transactional experience because it's not about him."
