AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) has pleaded not guilty to a gun charge. The Baton Rouge rapper appeared in court on Monday, May 15 in San Diego, where he was arrested when filming a music video with Bully Three earlier this month.

According to reports, two defense attorneys that are representing the "Wipe Me Down" rapper declined to comment on the latest developments in the case following his arraignment. Meanwhile, an additional person who was arrested with him wasn't charged in regards to the incident.

Boosie was put in San Diego County Jail on May 6 and booked on a total of four charges. They included felon in possession of a firearm, concealed carry weapon in a vehicle, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and unlisted owner of a registered firearm.

The Louisiana rhymer was then freed from prison on $50,000 bail. If he's convicted of the gun charge, he faces up to three years in prison.

Following the release, Boosie lashed out at the San Diego police during his performance on May 7. In a video circulating online, the 40-year-old could be seen leading the crowd in a "F**k San Diego Police" chant while they all held up their middle fingers. Boosie added, "Suck my d**k you b***hes."

Boosie is no stranger to hitting back at police officers. Back in July 2022, he threatened to sue police for harassment after he was pulled over in Georgia for dark tints and a concealed tag. Police found weed and a large bag of cash upon searching the vehicle.

"I can't keep going through this though, bro," he said to the police in a video posted by TMZ. "I just can't, bro. I don't do no wrong. I gotta go to y'all superiors and file charges, man. It's harassment. It's every day. I moved to the country to f**king live, bro. I did six years on my back. I'm f**king tired, bruh."
