After his former mistress Sade appeared to go public with their relationship, the 'So Sick' singer says that he's dating around now and is open to dating a fan.

AceShowbiz - Ne-Yo's former side chick apparently has not gotten her status upgraded to main chick just yet following his split from former wife Crystal Smith a.k.a. Crystal Renay Williams. Despite his recent PDA with his baby mama Sade, the singer/songwriter claims that he's "single."
Met at LAX on Wednesday, April 26, the three-time Grammy winner was asked if he's ready to start dating again. "It depends on the person," he said in a video obtained by TMZ. "Me personally, I'm in a space where I'm happy."
The 43-year-old then added that he's actually "dating" around now. "I'm dating now. I don't give a damn, I'm good...I'm around. I'm enjoying the single life," he bragged about his single life.
Ne-Yo went on claiming that his DMs are flooded with messages from potential girlfriends and he tries to respond to as many as he can, before admitting he'd be open to dating a "regular" fan who isn't a celebrity.
"Yeah, man, that part don't matter to me, fame don't matter," he said about dating someone who doesn't have similar status to him. "I honestly don't even trip over things like that. Somebody on my level kind of understands that plight of what I go through just as a celebrity."
"But at the same time, we're weirdos. Us celebrities, we're weirdos," the "Let Me Love You" songwriter added. "So I like normal people. I'm okay with going for just regular people."
Ne-Yo finalized his divorce from Crystal in January. When filing for divorce in August 2022, Crystal accused him of infidelity. She claimed that he fathered a child with Sade during their marriage. In September, it was revealed that Sade got pregnant with their second child together. She announced in March that she had given birth to her son Brixton.
On April 14, Sade seemingly went public with their romance as she shared videos from her birthday celebration at what looked like a club. Ne-Yo couldn't get his hands off his baby mama, touching her booty as she was dancing in one clip.
A week later, Sade appeared to clap back at critics of their relationship. Posting a clip of Ne-Yo performing at what seems to be a club, she gushed over him, "Mmmmmm sexy a** baby daddy," before adding, "F**k what you talking about" with some sweaty emojis.
