AceShowbiz - Alicia Keys is hitting the road soon. On Tuesday, April 18, the "Empire State of Mind" hitmaker surprised her online devotees by announcing the dates of her "Keys to the Summer Tour".
The 42-year-old broke the exciting news via Instagram by sharing a compilation video of special moments in her life. She captioned it, "KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR. I'm about to bring you these NEW VIBRATIONNNSSSS. My first ever 360 tour!! Where are you pullin' up to rock with me?"
The trek will run through more than 20 cities. It will kick off at FLA Live Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on June 28. There will be several stops in cities like Atlanta, Boston, New Orleans and Seattle among others.
Alicia will wrap the North American tour, which was produced by Live Nation, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on August 2. This will mark her first 360 in-the-round concert experience.
Of the tour, Alicia said in a statement that it "is going to be completely unforgettable and unmissable! I describe it as a celebration of freedom and self-liberation!" She added, "It's going to be colorful, magical and will light up your body, soul and all of your senses!"
"This is my first time creating a 360 experience and we've made sure it's like nothing you've ever seen!" the award-winning artist further declared. "I'm so excited to see y'all this summer!"
"Keys to the Summer Tour" follows 2022's "The Alicia + Keys World Tour", which included dates in North America and Europe. In May, she will head to Latin America for a series of shows.
