Sharing photos of her return, the 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' star who became the first Asian to receive the Best Actress honor gushes about her parents' love, trust and support.

AceShowbiz - Michelle Yeoh took her precious Oscar trophy to a graveyard. Around a month after making history at the prestigious event by claiming the Best Actress honor, the "Everything Everywhere All At Once" star made an emotional visit to her father's resting place.

Returning to her native country Malaysia in time for the traditional Qingming Festival, which was also known as Tomb Sweeping Day, the 60-year-old did not forget to present her golden man statuette to her late father. On Wednesday, April 12, she took to Instagram to share a photo capturing the moment.

The heartwarming snap displayed her putting her trophy in the same frame of her father's tombstone. In accompaniment to the photo, she explained her post's caption, "Brought Mr.O home…. Without my parents love and trust and support… I wouldn’t be here today… love so much."

During her return visit, the actress portraying Eleanor Sung-Young in "Crazy Rich Asians" also made a visit to her mother Janet Yeoh. In the same post she shared her graveyard visit, she shared a picture of her beaming 84-year-old mother posing with her Oscar stattuete.

In March, Michelle gave a shout out to her mother when delivering her winning speech at the 95th Academy Awards. "I have to dedicate this to my mom, all the moms in the world because they are really the superheroes and without them none of us would be here tonight," she declared at the time.

"She's 84 and I'm taking this home to her. She's watching right now in Malaysia with my family and friends," the longtime partner of Jean Todt continued before declaring that she would present her mother with the trophy. "I love you, I'm bringing this home to you."

Michelle became the first Asian woman to be honored with the Best Actress at the Oscars. She beat off competition from Cate Blanchett, Ana de Armas, Andrea Riseborough and Michelle Williams in the category. She hailed her victory as a "beacon of hope and possibilities" for Asian people.
