The 'Planet Her' artist could have maintained her blue tick on the platform by paying $8 per month, but she seemingly refused to do it because she is not 'desperate for validation.'

AceShowbiz - Doja Cat couldn't care less about getting a verification on Twitter. The "Need to Know" hitmaker was mocked by one user for losing a blue tick on the micro-blogging site, but she doesn't mind it because it's just for a "complete loser."

The singer/femcee reacted to her losing the blue tick on Tuesday, April 11. After someone asked, "no blue tick? it's over," she simply replied, "Only fans have blue ticks."

Doja went on to offer her thoughts in another tweet. "Having a blue tick now means theres a higher chance that you're a complete loser and that you're desperate for validation from famous people," she argued.

Twitter users must pay $8 per month to maintain a blue check. It initially cost $20 but Elon Musk suggested a lower subscription fee after facing backlash.

That aside, Doja recently made a declaration when it comes to music. The "Planet Her" artist revealed that pop "isn't exciting" anymore to her so she won't make pop music in near future.

On April 8, the 27-year-old wrote on her Twitter account, "no more pop…i also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny. I know they are." She then added, "I wasnt trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I'm getting tired of hearing yall say that i can't so I will."

One of Doja's fans then replied, "i hope these comments are not the only thing that pushed you to go full rap…if doing pop and rap is what you like you shouldn't stop simply because of them." In response, the "You Right" songstress penned, "pop isnt exciting to me anymore. I dont wanna make it."
