Jessica Simpson apparently doesn't have dental hygiene high up on her list of priorities. In one interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the singer revealed that she shockingly shared that she "doesn't brush her teeth every day."

She went on to explain, "Because my teeth are so white and I don't like them to feel too slippery, but I do use Listerine and I do floss every day. But I don't brush them every day." She also said that she sometimes uses a shirt to wipe her teeth clean, adding, "I know it's gross, but I always have fresh breath."

Being around Johnny Depp seemingly may not be everyone's happy moment. Back in 2010, a source claimed that the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" actor "usually smells because he rarely showers." The source also added, "He isn't big on personal cleanliness."

The insider also claimed that his then-partner Vanessa Paradis "isn't much different," adding, "They found their perfect match in each other - it's hard to be around them. Their personal hygiene is not their priority." The source continued, "When Johnny shows up for work or travel, he's usually in rough shape. If he's showing up for work on set, he'll be a total professional, but that doesn't mean he'll be shiny and clean. He entrusts his movie looks to his hair, make-up and costume team. He's quite a character in person."

5. Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift sparked debate when she talked about washing her legs in a 2019 appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". At the time, the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker insinuated that she only washed her legs when she shaved.

When asked if she washes her legs in the shower, Taylor replied, "I do, because when you shave your legs, the shaving cream is like soap, right?" When the host agreed, the singer added, "So that counts? Good. I'm on the right side of history, then." Fans, however, couldn't help but get weirded out by her response as one person tweeted, "How the hell do u not wash ur legs in the shower??? Huh?? U just stop after ur butt and that's it?? Taylor Swift said she don't wash her legs but she shaves them girl that is not the same thing wtf."

"I'm very spoiled and I don't take for granted how lucky I am to stay in fancy hotels and fly first class. So when I do have a little time off, I like to get down and dirty [by] camping or traveling to countries that don't have the luxuries." She added that "there's a time and a place for everything - and sometimes there's a time for not showering."

Jake Gyllenhaal's view on personal hygiene may change the way some people look at him. The actor previously revealed that he's not big on bathing in real life and called it unnecessary.

"More and more, I find bathing to be less necessary at times," he told Vanity Fair in August 2021. "Good manners and bad breath get you nowhere. So I do that. But I do also think that there's a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves."

8. Brad Pitt

"I'm a big fan of waiting for the stink," Bell said on the show. "Once you catch a whiff, that's biology's way of letting you know you need to clean it up. There's a red flag. Honestly, it's just bacteria, and once you get bacteria you gotta be like, 'Get in the tub or the shower.' So I don't hate what Kunis and Kutcher are doing. I wait for the stink."

10. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

The whole discourse about celebrities' hygiene started by Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. When appearing on "The Armchair Expert" podcast back in 2021, hosted by their buddy Dax Shepard, Kunis claimed she didn't wash their kids every day.

Kutcher added, "Now here's the thing: If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there's no point." Once word spread online, lots of people expressed disgust at the idea, while others admitted to not bathing their children daily either." He, however, clarified, "I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever. I got a bar of Lever 2000 that delivers every time. Nothing else."
