The 'Make It Home' singer reportedly enjoyed watching Chris' Netflix special, in which the comedian joked that the 'Emancipation' actor practices 'selective outrage' by channeling his anger to him instead of to Jada's former fling.

AceShowbiz - August Alsina's reaction to Chris Rock's joke about his entanglement with Jada Pinkett Smith has been revealed. Instead of getting irritated that the comedian brought up his old scandal with the wife of Will Smith, the singer/songwriter reportedly loved the anecdote about him.
"August watched the Netflix special and he laughed," a source told The Post, claiming that the 30-year-old found it "funny." The source added, "He thought it was not only funny but truthful. That was the best part for him."
In "Chris Rock: Selective Outrage" which premiered on Saturday, March 4, Chris hit back at Will, who slapped him onstage at last year's Academy Awards. "I got smacked at the f**king Oscars by this mother**ker. And people are like, 'Did it hurt?' It still hurts!" the comic said.
The "Grown Ups" star pointed out his and Will's size difference, saying that Will played Muhammad Ali while he played Pookie in "New Jack City". "Yes it hurt. It still hurts. I got 'Summertime' ringing in my ears. My f**king drums bleed," so he claimed.
He then made a reference to Jada's entanglement with August. He joked that Will practices "selective outrage" by slapping him instead of the singer, who had an affair with his wife. "Everyone called Will a b***h, " for putting up with Jada's affair, "but I'm the one he hit," he said. "A n***a knows he can beat. That is some b***h a** s**t."
He also mocked the couple for putting "this s**t on the Internet," referring to the time Jada interviewed Will about the matter on "Red Table Talk". "I have no idea why two talented people would do something that low down," Chris said. "We've all been cheated on. None of us have been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television."
