AceShowbiz - Madonna is definitely a supportive girlfriend. The 64-year-old "Like a Virgin" hitmaker could be seen cheering on her new boxer boyfriend Joshua Popper despite rumors claiming that their romance relationship is only a publicity stunt.
The "Material Girl" singer shared a series of snaps of herself cheering on Josh in a boxing match over the weekend via her Instagram Stories. The social media uploads were posted after Page Six revealed she sat ringside during the 29-year-old southpaw's fight at Manhattan's Classic Car Club.
For the outing, Madonna wore a black dress and a black puffer jacket, along with a baseball cap emblazoned with the words, "Spiritually Hungry". The Queen of Pop, who recently split from model Andrew Darnell, completed the look with several silver necklaces and matching drop earrings, as she styled her auburn tresses in two braids.
Madonna also posed beside the "Summer House" boxing coach, clad in red-and-white boxing shorts and a fitted red tank top, in one of the photos. The new couple looked very cozy as they both sported a huge grin.
News of Madonna dating Josh first emerged earlier this month. A source told Daily Mail that Josh has been training Madonna's six kids at his gym Bredwinners in New York City. While the pair have yet to confirm the dating reports, they both have shared photos of them posing together on Instagram.
More recently, it's unveiled that Madonna's "romance" with the boxing coach is just to "promote" his gym. "He's a good-looking guy, but Madonna isn't looking for love at the moment," one of the pals explained to Page Six. "Josh has been training her son and she's impressed. She said she would help him promote the gym."
The so-called insider went on to say, "He's up-and-coming and has just appeared in a reality show on Bravo, so he is eager to get attention with Madonna." Still, the informant clarified, "That's not to rule out any romance in the future.. but for now things are strictly platonic."
