AceShowbiz - Things are seemingly cool again between Drake and Ice Spice. Fans noticed that the Canadian star re-followed the Bronx raptress on Instagram after he unfollowed the up-and-coming rapper in September 2022 after inviting her to OVO Fest.
On Tuesday, February 28, The Shade Room posted the receipt that the "In My Feelings" spitter had press the follow button on the "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" hitmaker's page. "Looks like #IceSpice is back in #Drake's good graces as he re-follows her on Instagram!" the blog wrote in the caption.
Despite being unfollowed, Ice Spice previously claimed that she didn't have hard feelings toward Drake. "He did [unfollow]," the "Munch (Feelin' U)" raptress admitted during her appearance on BET's Rap City 22. She added, "I don't know why though."
Host DJ Blue Diamond then responded, "Shame on you, Drake. Shame on you. You shouldn't have done that." The femcee, however, noted that she didn't mind as she said, "It's OK. It's all love."
In addition to unfollowing Ice Spice, Drake appeared to diss her on "Her Loss" track "BackOutsideBoyz". He rapped, "She a ten tryna rap, it's good on mute, yeah." In response to the speculations, Ice Spice joked on Twitter, "at least ima 10."
Meanwhile, Drake's decision to re-follow Ice Spice on the photo-sharing platform came in the wake of fake rumors that she's dating Pete Davidson. The rumors quickly set Twitter ablaze with the "Saturday Night Live" alum's name trending in the U.S.
The rumors allegedly first emerged after people started posting comments, including, "Ofc Pete Davidson and Ice Spice are dating I'm not surprised tho." Another comment read, "Hear me out one time…it's June 2023, Pete Davidson & Ice Spice are dating." One person, meanwhile, didn't think that their rumored romance could last long, saying, "I give it 6 months til Pete Davidson is dating Ice Spice."
The whole rumors, however, seemingly were made as a joke to poke fun at Pete's dating life. "The King of Staten Island" star is currently romantically linked with his "bodies, bodies, bodies" star Chase Sui Wonders.
