While some fellow musicians show support for the 'Have Mercy' singer for her collaboration with the 'Under the Influence' hitmaker, some fans are against it with someone calling it 'disgusting.'

AceShowbiz - Chloe Bailey upset fans after she announced that her upcoming single "How Does It Feel" will feature Chris Brown. The "Have Mercy" songtress revealed their collaboration on Thursday, February 16 in an Instagram post featuring an image of herself with the controversial singer.

The said picture saw the pair embracing each other for the cover of the new song. The one half of Chloe X Halle wore a black leather dress that hugged her curves perfectly, while the "Under the Influence" hitmaker rocked an all-black outfit featuring a bomber jacket. "2ND PIECE. HOW DOES IT FEEL @chrisbrown. 2/24," she captioned the image on the photo-sharing platform.

Some fellow musicians showed support for Chloe ahead of the release of the new single. JT from City Girls commented, "Come on!!!" H.E.R. said in the comments section, "WORRRRKKKK," while Bebe Rexha wrote, "Omg icon."

Despite that, some fans were not happy with the fact that Chloe chose to work with Chris, who has been accused of violence against women several times. "We're failing Black women in music if they feel like they have to collaborate with a known abuser in order to chart," one critic said.

Someone else added, "watch people defend her collaborating w/ him while claiming that his history of violence against women was a one time thing that he grew from despite the fact that his track record goes back from 2009 to 2022. in 2019 & 2022 he was accused of sexual assault by 2 different women." One person simply described her collaboration with Breezy "disgusting," adding, "That's how it feels. Stop giving this abusive p.o.s. attention."

"Was really looking forward to the album after pray it away but now Chloe you can honestly f**k right off. [Beyonce Knowles] really fumbled with this one," another comment read. One fan urged Chloe to cancel it as saying, "chloe there's still time to delete this we will pretend like we didn't see this there's still time."

However, some fans defended Chloe's decision to enlist Brown for the record. Praising the "With You" singer, one said, "Chris Brown is the GOAT everyone that's crying your tears taste amazing. Move on!" Another supporter added, "Social media and it's [sic] selective outrage is exhausting. Anywho, I truly hope this song is fire Chloe….for someone of your talent and gift, you really deserve the top spot. Can't wait!"
