AceShowbiz - Machine Gun Kelly was electrocuted during his latest gig. However, instead of getting traumatized by the incident, the "Bloody Valentine" rocker took to social media to poke fun at himself.
On Saturday, February 11, the 32-year-old made use of Instagram Story to share a video of him when performing at the Coors Light Bird's Nest in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday night. Alongside the clip, he wrote, "Yooo I got electricuted [sic] and my hair stood up," adding a crying laughing emoji and thunderbolt emojis.
Meanwhile, on Twitter, MGK Shared a photo of him looking shocked as his hair shot straight up. "getting electrocuted during a performance was a first for me…but the hair's cool," the fiance of Megan Fox penned.
According to TMZ, the "Bird Box" actor performed for nearly 2 hours at the sold-out Super Bowl weekend bash. Among those in attendance were Alex Rodriguez and his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro.
MGK's performance came weeks after he reflected on his music career. "I think when I was in my phase of my...30-year-phase of wanting external validation and I think I have learned a lot about myself between that time and this time," the rapper shared at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards on February 5. "Even in the last three days leading up to the Grammys."
"It was an honor to be in a category with Ozzy Osbourne," referring to his nomination in the Best Rock Album category. "It was more cathartic and I learned a bigger in the 45-minute car ride that I had on the way here than I had in 30 years and it is the beginning of my journey of self-worth."
