Page Six reported on Tuesday, January 31 that the 42-year-old beauty will pose for a VF cover and talk in-depth about her divorce from the NFL star for the first time. Though a VF spokesperson said the publication does not comment on editorial rumors, one Conde Nast insider told the news site, "I could see this as a cover to celebrate Earth Month in April, as that's a subject close to Gisele's heart. But it could also be a summer cover."
The report came after Gisele was spotted vamping for the cameras in a dazzling return to modeling. Over the weekend, the cover model was seen flashing her stunning figure in a sexy purple swimsuit and a sheer dress for a sultry photo shoot on a Miami beach. Fans were convinced that the shoot will be used for the VF cover.
Gisele made her return to modeling after she and Tom decided to end their 13-year marriage. More recently, it's reported that the catwalk beauty "knows" that she "made the right decision" to divorce the seven-time Super Bowl champ.
A source also said that the model is "starting over in a good frame of mind." The so-called insider detailed, "[Gisele] feels confident, strong and better than she has in a long, long time. Gisele will do what she needs to do and go where she needs to be, and I think that includes the Met Gala red carpet."
Following her divorce, Gisele is rumored to be dating her jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Recently, they're spotted enjoying horseback riding together in Costa Rica. A source also claimed that the model has a "deep relationship" with him.
Gisele's ex-husband Tom, meanwhile, has been romantically linked to Miss Slovakia winner Veronika Rajek. The romance speculations emerged after she posted gushing Instagram posts about him. Of the dating rumors, Veronika's rep said in a statement that the 26-year-old beauty "will not comment on the matter" at this time.
