In contrary to recent reports which stated that the late daughter of Elvis Presley has been laid to rest ahead of her public memorial service, a Graceland employee says that the burial will take place after a Sunday, January 22 funeral.

AceShowbiz - Lisa Marie Presley has not been buried just yet despite recent reports stating otherwise. A representative for the late singer has denied that she has been laid to rest at Graceland's Meditation Garden ahead of her planned public memorial service.
Us Weekly and Entertainment Tonight reported that the only child of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley was laid to rest on Thursday, January 19. However, a Graceland employee tells Page Six that her burial will take place after her funeral, which is scheduled for Sunday, January 22.
The same source says that attendees of Lisa Marie's public memorial service that same day will "get a chance to walk by the body."
Lisa Marie died on Thursday, January 12, just days after she attended the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. She went into cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas after complaining of severe stomach agony. Her ex-husband Danny Keough, who was living with her, performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived. Lisa Marie, however, suffered another heart attack when she arrived at hospital and did not survive.
On Tuesday, the family confirmed plans for the public memorial service. "Riley, Harper, Finley, and Priscilla are grateful for the support, well-wishes, and outpouring of love honoring their beloved Lisa Marie," the family said in a statement. "A public memorial service has been arranged on the front lawn of Graceland at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday, January 22, in Memphis."
Lisa Marie will be laid to rest at Graceland, across from her famous father's burial spot and next to her late son Benjamin Keough's. Elvis' parents, Vernon and Gladys, and his grandmother, Minnie Mae, are all buried at the property, in the same area where the "Love Me Tender" was laid to rest. Elvis' twin brother, Jessie, who died at birth, is also buried at the landmark.
It was recently reported that Benjamin's grave is "slightly" moved to make room for his mother's body. "They are moving the grave of Benjamin to make room for Lisa in the cemetery behind the house," an estate staffer explained to Page Six.
