AceShowbiz - Mariah the Scientist has come under fire over her recent magazine photo shoot. The "Always n Forever" singer has been dragged by many Twitter users for using an inmate visitation theme for Galore magazine.

On the cover, the 25-year-old portrayed a woman visiting a partner in jail as she held a random baby. The musician, who has been romantically involved with incarcerated rapper Young Thug, appeared to expose her breasts in another picture.

The photos didn't sit well with many. One person in particular argued, "Black Trauma, but make it FASHION." Another wrote, "cosplaying a n***a baby momma is crazy bc whose child is that." A third opined, "This is so weird. Like literal families are going through this right now, but say cheese, I guess."

The criticism continued with one noting, "People want this type of life so baddd till they in that position." Someone else fumed, "@MariahScientist you should be ashamed. If you actually had a kid that would be a different story but posing with somebody else's child? Do you have no PR team???" Another raged, "very embarrassing for Mariah the Scientist to pose holding a baby (that isn't even hers) in a prison waiting for her man & having it be titled 'the art of being a woman'. like huh?????"

"I already didn't care about Mariah the Scientist but being someone who actually visited someone in jail for months....that photoshoot is cringe af to me," a different individual commented. Meanwhile, one other person wondered, "Am I the only person that finds this low key disrespectful."

Mariah has seemingly noticed the backlash. Taking to her Twitter page, she simply wrote, "Everything I do get y'all tight, hate that for you."
