The 'Only Murders in the Building' actress ditches her signature brunette hair for rainbow tresses and uses restroom hand dryer to style them in a TikTok video.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has apparently undergone a major transformation ahead of the new year. The 30-year-old star has debuted a surprising new look as she ditched her signature brunette hair for rainbow locks in a new video.

The former Disney darling made use of her TikTok account to unveil her surprising hair makeover. On Thursday, December 8, she posted a short clip of her sporting the colorful hair while using restroom hand dryer to style it.

In the video, the "Only Murders in the Building" actress bent her knees to get under the hand dryer in what looks like a public restroom. She gently brushed her bangs with her fingers before smiling as she noticed the camera. Meanwhile, someone behind the camera laughed at her funny antics. "You gotta do what you gotta do," she cheekily captioned it.

Selena looked ready to party with the vibrant pink, yellow and blue hair colors, but it's unclear if she permanently dyed her hair or if it's just a wig. She also wore a teal satin shirt with ripped jeans that gave off old disco vibes.

Selena still had her brunette hair when attending Variety's 2022 Hitmakers Brunch on December 3. She also still rocked her usual brown tresses when stopping by "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" earlier this week.

During her appearance on the NBC show, the "Lose You to Love Me" songstress teased about her new music, which she said will be different from her other "sad girl songs." She shared, "I'm just so used to writing sad girl songs because I'm good at that, but I'm ready to have some fun. And I think people are going to like it."

She also promoted her new documentary film, "Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me", which documents her journey with lupus as well as her mental health struggles. The doc was released on Apple+ on November 4.
