AceShowbiz - Eva Mendes might have secretly tied the knot with Ryan Gosling. The "Girl in Progress" star made fans assume whether she's married to her longtime partner after she showed off a new tattoo on social media.
In an Instagram photo shared on Tuesday, November 15, the 48-year-old could be seen covering her face with her wrist inked with the words "de Gosling." According to PEOPLE, "the use of 'de' or 'of' unifies the woman's last name with her husband's after marriage" in Hispanic culture.
It is safe to assume that Eva's new tat means she's Mrs. Gosling. Upon seeing the picture, one of her Instagram followers commented, "Congratulations."
Eva and Ryan have been in a romantic relationship since 2011. The couple, who first met on the set of their film "The Place Beyond the Pines", has been known for being private with their family lives.
Eva once opened up about her decision not to post about her "immediate family" on Instagram. "I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids. I'll talk about them of course, with limits, but I won't post pictures of our daily life," she wrote in April 2020.
"Since my children are still so little and don't understand what posting their image really means, I don't have their consent," the actress, who shares daughters Esmeralda Amada, 8, and Amada Lee, 6, with her partner, further elaborated. "And I won't post their image until they're old enough to give me consent."
In May this year, Eva got candid about the arrangement of her and Ryan's domestic task. "Ryan's the cook. He's an incredible cook," she said in an interview with PEOPLE. "I think that there's a really nice balance to 'you cook, I clean.' And it just works for us."
