AceShowbiz - The wait is finally over. On Tuesday, November 1, Taylor Swift announced that she will embark on "The Eras Tour" and she's so "enchanted" to share the news with her online devotees.
Making use of Instagram, the 32-year-old beauty unleashed the poster of the tour. "I'm enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!) The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!"
Taylor went on to gush about "feeling like the luckiest person alive" because she will bring some "brilliant artists out on tour" with her, including, Paramore, HAIM, Phoebe Bridgers, Beabadoobee, Girl in Red, Muna, Gayle, Gracie Abrams and Owenn. She then raved, "I can't WAIT to see your gorgeous faces out there. It's been a long time coming."
Taylor first teased about hitting the road when appearing on "The Graham Norton Show", which aired on October 28. "We will sometime soonish. It's going to happen," she said after being asked by the host. "We will do it and it will be great."
Noting that she is "thrilled" over the response to her latest record, "Midnights", the "All Too Well" hitmaker added, "But I do think it's a little accusatory when people say I broke Spotify." She then emphasized, "It was my gorgeous fans that broke Spotify!"
"Midnights" is such a huge success for Taylor. Aside from breaking the record for the most-streamed album in a single day in Spotify history, she became the female artist with the most monthly listeners on Spotify as of October 2022, beating the likes of Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa.
On October 31, Billboard's official Twitter account announced, ".@taylorswift13 scores one of the most historic weeks in @billboardcharts history, as she becomes the first artist to claim the #Hot100's entire top 10 in a single week." Elated by the news, Taylor exclaimed, "10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES."
Stealing the No. 1 spot on the chart is "Anti-Hero," which arrived along with its chaotic music video. Trailing behind are "Lavender Haze", "Maroon", "Snow on the Beach" featuring Lana Del Rey, "Midnight Rain," "Bejeweled", "Question...?", "You're on Your Own, Kid", "Karma" as well as "Vigilante S**t".
