The eldest member of BTS (Bangtan Boys) co-writes the new single with Coldplay and is set to perform the track at the British rock band's concert, 'Music of the Spheres World Tour', in Argentina.

AceShowbiz - Jin has officially made his solo debut with a new single called "The Astronaut". The eldest member of BTS (Bangtan Boys) released the dreamy song on Friday, October 28 along with its cinematic music video.

The visuals opens with Jin chilling down in his bedroom. After watching the news on TV, the South Korean artist decides to go to a place with a crashed UFO. Wearing a black suit, he takes his bike and goes to the location by himself.

Upon his arrival, Jin stares at the burnt spaceship before he crosses into another universe. The footage ends with the UFO departing, and Jin heads back home soon after it leaves the earth.

"When I'm with you/ There is no one else/ I get heaven to myself/ When I'm with you," the 29-year-old K-Pop sensation sings in the chorus. "There is no one else/ I feel this way I've never felt."

Jin co-wrote "The Astronaut" along with Coldplay. He is set to perform the track at the British rock band's concert, "Music of the Spheres World Tour", in Argentina on Friday.

Coldplay even shared a photo with Jin during their rehearsal. Along with the snap, they penned, "Jin is here! Rehearsals for #TheAstronaut, River Plate stadium, Buenos Aires. First ever live performance tomorrow #ColdplayLiveBroadcast."

While it might be the first time for Jin and Coldplay work together for his solo music, they previously joined forces with other BTS members for "My Universe". The joint single, in which the groups sing about prioritizing love over differences, hit streaming services in September 2021. It serves as the second single from Coldplay's "Music of the Spheres" following "Higher Power".
