While some of these musical artists do not address their falls, others decide to poke fun at themselves after having mishaps at their live shows, including Billie Eilish and Anne-Marie.

AceShowbiz - Performances do not always go as planned. Musical artists must have experienced some unexpected incidents during their live shows, whether they are costume malfunctions, technical difficulties and even taking nasty falls onstage.

No matter how often they perform at live concerts, these entertainers cannot escape nosediving in front of packed crowds. These are names of singers/rappers who took a tumble during performances in 2022.

1. Tim McGraw

Tim McGraw lost his balance when performing at the Boots in the Park festival in Tempe, Arizona. During the September 17 show, the "Don't Take the Girl" singer took a tumble after kneeling down on the edge of the stage with his back to the audience.

In a video uploaded by a fan on Instagram, the 55-year-old sank to one knee to highlight a guitar player performing a guitar solo. When he began to rise, he took a step backward into the pit and eventually fell off the stage. Luckily, the country crooner handled the situation well by greeting fans in the front row before continuing the show.

2. Playboi Carti

Playboi Carti was raging too hard at the 2022 Wireless Festival that he didn't realize what would happen next. When taking the stage of London's Crystal Palace Park at the July show, the "Rockstar Made" spitter fell to the ground.

A video surfacing online showcases the 26-year-old hopping backward as he rapped the chorus to "Sky". Unaware that he already ran out of room, the hip-hop star disappeared downward from the stage. Though so, the emcee was unfazed by the mishap and was quick to get back on his feet.

3. J-Hope

J-Hope might never forget his performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards. When singing their smash hit "Butter" with his BTS (Bangtan Boys) bandmates at the annual event, the 28-year-old singer/rapper tripped and fell onstage.

The incident was hardly noticeable since J-Hope was standing behind his group mates at the April show. However, eye-eagled fans could still spot him tumbling out of formation and nearly face planting. The good news is the South Korean artist made a quick recovery and managed to go on with his performance.

4. Swae Lee

Swae Lee is another musical artist who took a tumble onstage. When performing "No Type" at a nightclub with his groupmate/brother Slim Jxmmi back in July, the Rae Sremmurd member tripped over his own feet.

Though he made a quick recovery, Lee had another mishap as he tried to dive into the crowd. Unfortunately, he failed and hit the ground miserably since the crowd did not properly catch him. In the end, fans helped the emcee to jump back onstage.

5. Steve Aoki

Steve Aoki fell hard off the stage on May 8. The "Waste It On Me" DJ was bopping his head energetically as he performed at DAER Nightclub in Hollywood, Florida. However, when walking back to his DJ set, he tripped over a stool and hit the ground.

Two men, presumably Steve's bodyguards, immediately went to his rescue. Before the two could offer any assistance, the Japanese-American music producer took a quick glance at his elbow and went on as if nothing happened.

6. Chad Gray

Chad Gray took a tumble off the front of the stage while performing "Not Falling" at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida. The lead vocalist of heavy metal band Mudvayne, however, insisted that the show must go on as he continued singing despite not being visible from the crowd.

Addressing the incident, Chad said in an Instagram video, "I'm okay. I'm still f**kin' hurtin'. But a lot of people have reached out to me personally; a lot of people sending me well wishes online. I appreciate it very much." Noting that "it was **king brutal" he admitted that he was still sore though he considered himself lucky for not breaking his ribs.

7. Anne-Marie

Anne-Marie stumbled on a staircase while singing "Don't Play" at the 2022 BRIT Awards earlier this year. Following the gig, the English singer took to social media to poke fun at herself over the embarrassing incident. "Didn't need my left ankle anyway," she jokingly penned on Twitter.

Later in an interview with Cosmopolitan U.K., Anne shared, "The ankle's alright. It's not too bad. It's better than what I thought it was going to be... I thought it was going to fall off, the direction it went in." She added, "No, it's OK. I'm surprised I was even able to walk and carry on the performance."

8. Luke Bryan

Luke Bryan fell onto his backside but the show just went on Friday night at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek. In a video uploaded by a fan on Twitter, the singer's foot could be seen slipping out from under him.

Luke handled the situation with humor though. He lay on the ground, pumping his hips and continued to sing "That's My Kind of Night". The country crooner even refused a hand-up from someone else on stage.

9. Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish had such a blast headlining this year's Coachella. Unfortunately, the "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" artist experienced an unexpected accident at the April show as she was preparing to sing her song "Getting Older".

As the stage went dark, the "No Time to Die" hitmaker slipped and landed directly on her face. "I just ate s**t," she could be heard telling fans while laughing. "Ouch! You guys, I just ate a** up here." The younger sister of FINNEAS then told concertgoers, "I'm good. I stepped on-it was dark, ouch! I tripped on the f**king fire thing... OK let's dance, huh?"

10. Post Malone

Post Malone's recent performance in St. Louis turned into a disaster. When belting out his hit song "Circles" at the Enterprise Center, the singer/rapper fell into a "big-a** hole" that his instrument had just been lowered into.

Posty bruised his ribs following the nasty fall, which led him to suffer a "stabbing pain" whenever he breathed or moved. As a result, he was rushed to a hospital and forced to cancel his September 24 show in Boston. Three days later, the emcee announced that he would be back on stage for a Cleveland show.
