Among those attending the Grammy-winning rapper's birthday bash are four of his children, including Reginae Carter who shares some photos of the two on Instagram.

AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne had a blast ahead of his 40th birthday. To celebrate his latest milestone, the "Sucker for Pain" hitmaker hosted a star-studded party which was attended by the likes of Keith Sweat, Skip Bayless and YG among others.

In a video surfacing online, Sweat could be seen giving a special performance for Tunechi. The emcee, whose birthday is on Tuesday, September 27, was so amused as he jumped out of his seat while Sweat was singing his 1987 hit "Don't Stop Your Love".

At the party, Wayne also got a surprise from NBA YoungBoy (YoungBoy Never Broke Again). While he was not in attendance due to his house arrest, YoungBoy sent Wayne a video. "Whaddup, n***a? It's your son," the 22-year-old said, prompting the guests to burst into laughter. He added, "Make sure you enjoy yourself, bruh."

Bayless, on the other hand, revealed that he had to leave the event early. He wrote on Twitter, "Just returned from Lil Wayne's 40th birthday party, Had to leave early because have to be up in 4 hours. But … what a night. Love you, man. Happy40!!!"

According to TMZ Hip Hop, the party took place at The Nice Guy in Los Angeles. Wayne's family also attended the bash, including four of his children. Reginae Carter even shared some photos of herself with her dad on Instagram. She captioned the post, "Last night , We Celebrated the [GOAT] Birthday !! More Life , More Everything. Happy Early Birthday Dad."

Wayne himself will be honored by the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville on his special day. NMAAM will host an exhibit with the Grammy winner, which "includes personally donated artifacts" from the hip-hop artist such as his "Rap Album of the Year" Grammy, BET "I Am Hip-Hop" Award, attire from classic moments and more.

"I'm very grateful to work with NMAAM and show students how Hip-Hop has been so influential on the culture," Wayne said of the partnership. "Shout out to NMAAM for all the birthday love."
