The 45-year-old actress, who played Rachel McGuire on 'Boy Meets World', claims in her memoir that she 'found [herself] a changed person' after she started her porn career.

AceShowbiz - Maitland Ward doesn't regret going into porn. In her memoir titled "Rated X", which is set to be released on Tuesday, September 6, the "Boy Meets World" alum claims that her porn venture instills her with confidence instead.

In the new book, the former Disney star criticizes Disney and its executives for their treatment of her on set. She additionally praises the porn industry for helping her blossom into the woman she is today.

The 45-year-old, whose credits include "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "White Chicks", details how she was objectified by employees of the House of Mouse while filming "Boy Meets World". She writes, "I was asked to try on lingerie for the producers in the office."

"This happened more than once, as Rachel was the only character to consistently take off her clothes," Maitland, who played Rachel McGuire on the hit sitcom, goes on to recall. "An assistant would gather me from my dressing room and take me upstairs where I'd be provided with a series of options, some playful and girlish, some so provocative I knew that Disney would never approve them, but still I would try them on."

She says she was forced to change behind a curtain so thin. "I'm sure they could see the silhouette of my naked form," she adds. She also reveals that the group of mostly men would pass judgment on whether the outfits "showed too much or not nearly enough to get the boys [watching the series] excited." A director allegedly told her, "You're like a daughter to me," before she was directed to try on another outfit.

"To be expendable is to be a woman in Hollywood," the actress writes in her book. "And you're not worth anything to anyone if you can't prop your man up."

Years later, Maitland garnered a large following after she started posting nude and topless photos on social media. She also starred in a full-length skin flick called "Drive", which was directed veteran porn actress Kayden Kross. She played an "innocent" woman who's starting to blossom.

Maitland admits, "I found myself a changed person after all this began. I had new confidence and a full-time job, and it wasn't because I smiled for any higher-ups. The validation that I was given, especially after being told that no one would ever pay a dime to see me sexy, was soul changing."

"It was like riding a bike, but a bike ridden again after walking in these old shoes I talked about for a lifetime on an unpredictable road," Maitland, who revealed last year that she was pulling in six figures a month from OnlyFans, continues. She says that she used to be "brainwashed into believing that nothing else mattered than a Hollywood job," but she's "confident now." She adds, "I was not afraid of everything that had held me back as a girl. Porn gave me that."
