AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande is breaking a new record. The "God Is a Woman" hitmaker has become the very first female musician who has 8 songs with over 1 billion streams on music streaming platform Spotify.
Pop Crave reported on Sunday, September 4 that eight of the 29-year-old Grammy-winning artist's chart-topping songs have surpassed over 1 billion streams. The songs include "7 Rings", "Thank U, Next", "Side to Side", "No Tears Left to Cry", "Bang Bang", "Into You", "Positions" and "One Last Time".
The first two top songs, which have over 1.5 million streams, are from Ariana's 2019 album "Thank U, Next". While "Side to Side" and "Bang Bang" are her collaboration tracks with Nicki Minaj.
"No Tears Left to Cry" is from Ariana's 2018 album "Sweetener". As for "Positions", it comes from Ariana's sixth studio album of the same name, while "One Last Time" is from her second album "My Everything".
On Spotify, Ariana has nearly 52 million monthly listeners. The former "Sam & Cat" actress also has two other songs that have nearly 1 million streams, including "God Is a Woman" and "Stuck With U" featuring Justin Bieber.
Upon learning of the new milestone, Arianators on social media are praising the season 21 judge of "The Voice". "A QUEEEN!!!!!" one person wrote on Instagram. Another wrote, "Main pop girl," with a third calling her a "legend."
The report of Ariana's new music record came shortly after a cosplayer named Paige Niemann started an OnlyFans account under the guise of the pop star. Although Paige made the account under her own name, fans think Paige's profile photo and banner image are misleading to people who aren't familiar with the singer. In the pictures, Page is wearing the "34+35" singer's signature high ponytails as well as makeup that makes her face look like the musician's face.
Fans were quick to call out Paige. "paige niemann having an onlyfans as she dresses/looks like ariana is so damn weird and creepy on so many levels like why tf," one Arianator tweeted. Another Ariana's loyal fan added, "Paige Niemann starting an OF cosplaying as Ariana Grande is one of the most disrespectful things i've ever seen. In my opinion this is going too far and is disgusting, weird and INSANELY DISRESPECTFUL."
