Having been met with backlash for stepping out in a pair of dangerously low-slung pants, the 'Uncut Gems' actress hits back by making it clear that her goal is not aimed for 'pleasing men.'

AceShowbiz - Julia Fox has hit back at internet trolls for trashing her fashion choice. Having been called out for her decision to wear a pair of extra low-rise pants during an outing in New York, the "Uncut Gems" actress took to her social media account to clap back at social media users who criticized her daring look.

The 32-year-old made use of her Instagram Story on Tuesday, July 26 to defend her controversial fashion. "There's more to life than chasing an impossible beauty standard projected onto me by insecure celebrities for the ultimate goal of pleasing men," she said in the short video.

Julia also spilled that she had to "shave around" the low-slung style of her pants in order to avoid more than intended. The actress, who was once linked romantically to Kanye West, added that there was only "one hook" holding up her trousers, which she paired with black bikini top.

Earlier on Saturday, July 23, one Twitter user shared a snap that saw Julia posing alongside "Selling Sunset" star Christine Quinn and Amelia Hamlin. "Julia fox has unlocked an all new level of low rise," the said user tweeted. In the photo, the Italian model could be seen rocking a black bikini top paired with a pair of trousers with extremely low front, which nearly exposed her genitalia area.

Julia's new look in the snap immediately sparked a number of comments from other Twitter users. "Julia fox is giving centaur from Narnia," one particular user tweeted, adding an iconic photo of a centaur man from "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe". A second user joked, "I wish i was as confident about anything as julia fox is about those pants staying up."

Another daring user also edited a photo of Julia in her low-rise pants by putting a horse torso behind her. The meme did not escape the actress, who went to repost it later on her Instagram account to poke fun at herself. "Sleigh," she wrote, tagging the cheeky Instagram user responsible for creating the meme at the end of her caption.
