Kid Cudi didn't tolerate the mistreatment he got at Rolling Loud Miami. After fans threw water bottles at him during his headlining set, the "Pursuit of Happiness" rapper decided to walk off the stage.
In a video surfacing online, the 38-year-old could be seen warning the audience that he would leave if someone threw one more thing at him. "Yo, I will walk off this stage if you all throw one more f**king thing up here, I will leave, I will leave right now," he argued.
"Throw one more f**king thing on this stage and I'll walk off, I'm not f**king playing. I'm not f**king playing, you will ruin it for everybody. I'll f**king leave If I get hit with one more f**king thing, if I see one more f**king thing on this f**king stage, I'm leaving. Don't f**k with me," Cudi fumed. However, someone threw another item at him shortly afterward, prompting him to drop his mic and walk offstage.
Cudi has yet to address the incident. Rolling Loud, meanwhile, said in a statement, "Rolling Loud is a family. Our fans, the artists, and everyone involved need to look out for each other. Share the love and be respectful to everyone. We love you, Cudi. Please take care of each other and let’s have an amazing day 2!"
Cudi has been tapped as one of this year's headliners after his friend-turned-enemy Kanye West pulled off the festival. Despite his withdrawal, Ye made a surprise appearance during Lil Durk's set for their recent Cardi B collaboration "Hot S**t". The two rappers also performed a rendition of "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1", which features Cudi on the hook.
Cudi said that he and Ye were "not cool" in April when they appeared together on the Pusha T track "Rock n Roll" from his new album "It's Almost Dry". "I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye. I am not cool w that man," the former tweeted at the time. "He's not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye."
Although Cudi and Ye squashed their feud in 2016, they sparked a new beef in February when the Yeezy designer announced that Cudi would not appear on his "Donda 2" album because of his friendship with Pete Davidson, who is dating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
