Other musical artists who are also set to perform at Drake's 'October World Weekend: Road to OVO Fest Tour' are Chris Brown and Lil Baby at Budweiser Stage.

AceShowbiz - Drake has great news for his fans. On Wednesday, July 13, the "Certified Lover Boy" artist announced that he will reunite with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne onstage at his "October World Weekend: Road to OVO Fest Tour" event.

Kicking off the festivities on Thursday, July 28 is a new act called All Canadian North Stars at History. Chris Brown and Lil Baby, meanwhile, will perform the next day at Budweiser Stage.

As for the Young Money reunion, it is set to take place on Monday, Aug. 1 at Budweiser Stage. This will mark the first time for Drake, Nicki and Lil Wayne to share a stage in years.

In the caption of the post, Drake declared, "OCTOBER WORLD WEEKEND. I am currently working on bringing OVO FEST around the world in 2023 for the 10th Anniversary but of course we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!!!" He added, "More event announcements to come. Tickets on sale Friday on @ticketmaster."

The news arrived more than a week after Drake made a surprise appearance at Backstreet Boys' concert in Toronto, Canada. During the July 2 show, the emcee joined Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, A.J. McLean as well as Kevin Richardson performing their hit song "I Want It That Way".

"At 13 years old, I had a bar mitzvah, and at my bar mitzvah, for the first time in my life, this girl I was in love with came up to me while one of the greatest songs in the world was playing," Drake said, as seen in a video shared on YouTube. "And she asked me if I would dance with her."

"It was the first time I ever felt acknowledged, and it was the first time I ever felt like, you know, I had a shot at being cool," the rapper, whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham, further explained. "If she can see me now, you know what I'm talking about."

Before singing the classic tune with the band, Drake declared, "Toronto, I want you to make some noise and I want you to sing this song as loud as you possibly can." He then gushed, "This is one of the greatest songs in music history. I'll be on stage for it, I'll try to sing along too."
