Rapper No Savage Named a Suspect in Washington Mall Shooting

The D.C. rapper, whose real name is Noah Settles, is wanted by the authorities in relation to the shooting that happened at the Tysons Corner Center on Saturday, June 18.

AceShowbiz - Rapper No Savage is a wanted man. The Washington D.C.-based hip-hop star has been named a suspect in the shooting that occurred inside a high-profile shopping district over the weekend, the law enforcement has announced.

On Saturday, June 18, a shooting broke out at the Tysons Corner Center in Fairfax, Virginia. The shooting was first reported to police around 3 P.M. Police believe No Savage, born Noah Settles, got into a dispute with another group before displaying a firearm and firing multiple rounds.

When police arrived on the scene, the shooter had already fled the mall. The suspect drove away in a black Cadillac with D.C. tags GK0174, according to police.

The Fairfax Police Department has now announced that the man responsible for the melee has been identified as No Savage. He is wanted for attempted malicious wounding, use of a firearm while committing a felony and three counts of firing a weapon in an occupied building.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting, although minor injuries were reported from shoppers during the ensuing panic. No arrests have been made as of press time.

"We will find, capture, and hold accountable the persons involved in this melee," Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said during a news conference on Monday, June 20. "This reckless discharging of a firearm. We are going to find them. I promise you that. They will be held accountable, and that's going to happen in short order."

No Savage, who has over 30,000 followers on Instagram, has not been active on the social media platform since June 6. He has over 148,000 monthly listeners on his Spotify account. He is known his track "Wop He Up" (2021) among others and released a single titled "Surfin' " earlier this year.
