The 'Malibu' singer offers support to 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star amid the ongoing defamation trial by recalling a story of how the 58-year-old actor came to her aid when she overdosed in a nightclub while grieving her late husband.

AceShowbiz - Courtney Love has recalled how Johnny Depp once saved her life. While unwilling to make "judgements" amid the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor's ongoing defamation case with his ex-wife Amber Heard, the Hole frontwoman has shared a story of how the 58-year-old actor came to her aid when she overdosed in a nightclub while grieving her late husband, Kurt Cobain.

The "Malibu" singer said in a video shared to her friend's Instagram account, "I don't really wanna make judgments publicly. I just want to tell you that Johnny gave me CPR in 1995 when I overdosed outside The Viper Room."

Courtney also shared how Johnny also "saved" her daughter Frances Bean, now 29, by writing her a letter on her 13th birthday while the youngster was dealing with Courtney's addiction and the suicide of Kurt, even though she didn't "really know" the "Black Mass" actor at the time.

The 57-year-old star continued, "Johnny, when I was on crack and Frances was having to suffer through that with all these social workers, wrote her a four-page letter that she's never showed me. Then he sent limos to her school where all the social workers were crawling around, again, unasked, for her and all her friends to go to 'Pirates [of the Caribbean]'."

"He did it a bunch of times. He gave her her own seat [at the premieres] with her name on it," she continued sharing. "I've never seen one of those 'Pirates' movies, but [Frances] loved them. You know, she said to me when she was 13, 'Mama, he saved my life.' And she said it again."

Although Courtney offered support to Johnny, she stressed she still had "empathy" for Amber. She said, "I've been the most hated woman in America. I've been the most hated woman in the world before TikTok and it's a really… I have a lot of empathy for what that must feel like for Amber. F*** man, wow, can you imagine being her?"

"But if you use a movement for your own personal gain," she went on to add, "and you inhabit queer feminist intersectional spaces, and you abuse that moment, then I hope justice gets served whatever it is."

Johnny is suing Amber over an op-ed she wrote in 2018 about being a victim of domestic abuse, while the "Aquaman" actress is countersuing because she didn't identify him by name.
