The 38-year-old TV star takes to TikTok to express his excitement for the new project, which is titled 'The Hills: Next Gen', while dissing his co-stars in the process.

AceShowbiz - Spencer Pratt doesn't have a good thing to say about his former "The Hills: New Beginnings" co-stars. The 38-year-old slammed them in a new video on his TikTok page in which he reacted to news that MTV is rebooting the show with an all-new cast.

"We've got breaking news," Spencer said in the clip which is set to the original "Hills" theme song, "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. " 'The Hills' reboot with a new cast has been greenlit."

He went on to say, "I cannot confirm or deny that I may end up narrating the series. Most likely, I'll probably just be the host of the after-show. That's what I'm manifesting with my crystals."

The TV star later expressed his excitement for the new project, which is titled "The Hills: Next Gen", while dissing his co-stars in the process. "But, you know, I'm excited because the cast I was involved with was hot garbage," he said. "So, I look forward to this new cast, who probably deserve to be on television."

"The Hills" originally premiered on MTV from 2006 to 2010 as a spin-off to "Laguna Beach" that centered on Lauren Conrad. On "The Hills", Spencer starred alongside his now-wife Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port. Kristin Cavallari took over as the series lead after Lauren left the show during season 5.

MTV later revived the show as "The Hills: New Beginnings" in 2019. In addition to returning stars such as Brody Jenner and Justin Brescia, the show introduced newcomers including Mischa Barton and Brandon Thomas Lee.

In addition to "The Hills" reboot, MTV announces that it will also be rebooting the "Jersey Shore" franchise.
