Just days after the 'Toxic' hitmaker suffered miscarriage, her fiance Sam Asghari reveals that he will not be attending the annual film festival in order to focus on his personal life and loved ones.

AceShowbiz - For Sam Asghari, nothing is more important than family. Through his social media account, the fiance of Britney Spears revealed that he has put off his plan to go to 2022 Cannes Film Festival to put his loved ones a priority.
Less than a week after Britney suffered a miscarriage, Sam made use of his Instagram Story to announce that he would not be attending the annual film festival. "Couldn't make it to Cannes Film Festival this year," the 28-year-old personal trainer stated in the since-expired Wednesday, May 18 Story, "Personal life and family come first, always. See you next year."
A few days before, on Monday, May 16, the actor gave an update via Instagram Story on how he and Britney were doing since the unfortunate miscarriage. "We have felt your support," he wrote, thanking fans for their support, "We are taking things positively and moving forward with our future. It's hard, but we are not alone. Thank you for respecting our privacy."
Sam and Britney shared that they had lost their unborn baby on Saturday, May 14. The news came a little over a month after the two announced that the "Toxic" hitmaker had a bun in the oven. Making use of their Instagram accounts, the couple shared a joint message regarding the situation.
"It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy," the pair's joint caption read. "This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however we were overly excited to share the good news."
Sam and Britney went on adding, "Our love for each other is our strength." The twosome continued by noting that they were staying hopeful despite their loss. "We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment," their message read.
