Noticing something in the crowd during her concert, the 'Without Me' hitmaker stops her performance to remind fans they have to act like human and treat each other with compassion.

AceShowbiz - Halsey takes the safety of her fans very seriously, and will not hesitate to call out any unsafe behavior that catches her eyes. On Tuesday, May 17, the "Without Me" hitmaker paused singing mid-song at her concert in West Palm Beach to give wild fans an earful.

During the concert taking place at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre, the "Him & I" hitmaker noticed that something happened in the crowd just 30 minute into her set. It prompted her to stop her performance of "You Should Be Sad" and tell her crew to stop the music in the middle.

Many of the concertgoers did not know what was going on when Halsey stopped, and were left confused on why she made the sudden move. "What's wrong?" one asked, while another questioned, "What happened?" The venue went still for a moment as Halsey made her way to center stage and broke the silence.

The "Walls Could Talk" songstress said, "I didn't think I was going to have to do that until a couple days into the tour, d**mit." She continued on, "While I have you I just want to make a statement, make a reminder, you know. I know we've been locked inside for a long time and forgot how to act like f**king people."

"But, everybody is here because they love the same thing you do so treat them with compassion, community," Halsey went on reminding, which garnered applaud from fans. "All of us are here because we love the same thing, we hate the same thing."

The "Eastside" hitmaker further explained, "Because your girlfriend dragged you here, that's fine too. You love your girlfriend. I love your girlfriend. Let's talk about that later in the set." After dealing with the situation, she said, "Let's try that one more time."

Halsey then resumed the concert as she started to sing "You Should Be Sad" again from the beginning. During the intro of the song, the 27-year-old singer declared, "I f**king love this song!"

So far, there has not been any concrete evidence something dangerous took place during the concert. Fans who were present at the concert did not see any threatening acts among the crowd. However, Halsey was not the first one to call out fans who seemed to be doing wild or questionable things.

After the infamous Astroworld incident, many musicians are on high alert and pay closer attention for any disturbance happening during their concerts. Billie Eilish and other singers had previously stopped their show midway when they noticed that fans' safety was put at risk.
