The 'Saturday Night Live' alum pokes fun at the Oscars incident as Dave Chappelle compares the man who attacked him at Hollywood Bowl to the 'King Richard' actor.

AceShowbiz - Chris Rock has slammed Will Smith in the wake of the Oscars incident. The comedian has dubbed the Academy Award-winning actor "the softest n***a" when joining Dave Chappelle to address the recent attack at Hollywood Bowl.

On Thursday night, May 5, Dave performed a special show at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. When Chris joined him onstage, he compared the man who attacked him earlier this week to Will, who slapped Chris onstage at the 2022 Academy Awards.

"At least you got smacked by someone of repute!" Dave joked to Chris, adding, "I got smacked by a homeless guy with leaves in his hair." The "Grown Ups" star appeared to dismiss it as he responded with a laugh, "I got smacked by the softest n***a that ever rapped."

Chris previously addressed the incident at his own stand-up shows. When taking the center stage at the Lyric Performing Arts Center in Baltimore on April 22, he assured the crowd, "I'm alright. I'm alright." He added, "Healed from the nicks and bruises...for the most part."

At another point during the sold-out show, he told the audience that "America is in trouble" because "everybody's scared they're going to offend someone." He also criticized the notion that "words hurt," stating "words only hurt if you've never been punched in the face."

Will, meanwhile, has apologized for his behavior at the prestigious event, admitting that it was "shocking, painful and inexcusable." He also resigned as a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, while the Academy banned him from attending its events for the next 10 years. Most recently, it's reported that he "has been going to therapy after the Oscars incident."
